The Communications Committee shall develop and disseminate newsworthy information that is of interest to women in conservation, agriculture, and professional development to the membership using any form of media that the committee and/or the National Council deem appropriate.  This committee shall consist of six (6) board members, including a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and secretary. 

Strategic Tasks:

* Cooperate with other groups and associations to develop and disseminate newsworthy information that is of interest to women in conservation, agriculture, and professional development.

* Encourage news media, including trade journals, to publicize and broadcast information that relates to positive roles of women in agriculture and conservation.

* Enhance awareness of the role women have in impacting agriculture, conservation and natural resources through various forms of communication.

* Oversee the publication of a newsletter and website.

* Oversee the Organization’s involvement in social media.

* Provide input on training topics to the Conference Planning Committee
