Women's Issues Committee

The Women’s Issues Committee is responsible for determining issues that impact women’s ability to work effectively in NRCS and to develop recommendations and solutions to these issues. The Committee will make recommendations to the National Council for review and action, especially in relation to issues that should be brought to the attention of NRCS national leadership. This committee shall consist of ten (10) board members, with representation from each region.

Strategic Tasks:

* Poll the membership to get a better understanding of the characteristics particular to the female experience, obstacles, and goals as they relate to employment within NRCS.

* Develop a strategy for the recruitment, retention, development and advancement of women based on the findings.

* Promote women’s equitable and active participation in decision-making processes of WIN. 

 

 

The National Organization of Women in NRCS is a 501(c)3 organization.
